Usually when we are playing a PowerPoint presentation, we would view in order. Sometimes, we may need to skip several slides in PowerPoint. How could we do that?
Method 1: Add hyperlinks.
Method 2: Keyboard.
Method 1: Add hyperlinks.
Hyperlink is really a useful function in PowerPoint. You can use it to create hyperlinks to webpages, slide within one PowerPoint, another PowerPoint, etc. Basically it enables you to jump from one slide to another. So here we can use it to skip certain slides in PowerPoint.
Suppose you want to skip slide 4, 5, 6, 7. That means after you viewed slide 3, you will directly go to slide 8.
there are two ways to creating such hyperlinks.
First:
Directly create hyperlink between slide 3 and slide 9. By doing this, you completely ignored the 4 slides.
Second:
You will still use the 4 slides. Create a hyperlink to slide 4 first. So when you click on slide 3 it will go to slide 4. The questions is how to automatically turn to slide 9? Create a hyperlink between slide 4 and 9 too. To make the hyperlink work automatically you should set the start as Automaticall After 00:00:00.
Method 2: Keyboard.
Another method is directly using keyboar to jump to the slide you want. Click F5 to show the PowerPoint and then enter the slide number on the numeric keypad of your keyboard and pressing "Enter." If you do not have a numeric keypad (calculator) section of your keyboard, use the numbers in the QWERTY section.
