How to View PowerPoint on Sony Xperia ZL?

Posted on 04:34 by Unknown
How to play PowerPoint on Xperia ZL/></a></div><span style=

Sony Xperia ZL, a high-range Android smartphone, was announced at CES 2013 in January, along with another model --- Sony Xperia Z. The Xperia ZL is a cheaper variant of Xperia Z. Both models have almost the same configurations except the ZL lacks waterproof and dust-proof features.

For specs, the Xperia ZL has a 5.0-inch full HD Reality display with 1080 x 1920 pixels and 441 ppi. A 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor is equipped to help the phone run fast. What’s more, it has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot. As to cameras, the handset comes up with a 13 MP rear camera witch supports 1080p HD video recording. The Xperia ZL is now available in US, India, Australia, Russia and Canada.

Highlights
Full HD Reality Display. The Xperia ZL brings 1080 progressive scan --- the highest level of HD available to users. Expertise from BRAVIA TV engineers goes into mobile screens, to bring users the same quality of a top quality HDTV.

Better battery life. Like Xperia Z, Battery STAMINA Mode is also used on the Xperia ZL. The phone knows when the screen is off and shuts down the battery-draining apps you don’t need, and then starts them up again when the screen is back on.

Playing PPT on Xperia ZL
Thanks to the combination of HD display and battery saving mode, playing 1080p videos on Xperia ZL is really an enjoyment. Besides entertainments, could the phone be used in business working? For example, how to play PowerPoint on Xperia ZL?

Showing PowerPoint on Xperia ZL perfectly is like a fancy story. We know there are some PPT apps on Google Play for your choice. With these apps installed, users can watch PowerPoint on Xperia ZL --- with all transits, animations and background music lost. After all, a mobile Office app is not as functional as Microsoft’s Office tool yet. Here comes a question: is there any other method to play PowerPoint on Xperia ZL and other smartphones with PPT elements remained? The answer is YES. Currently the most effective way is to convert PPT to Xperia ZL suitable videos. By using this PowerPoint to Xperia ZL HD video converter, users can easily change PPT files to suitable video formats and play them on their phones fluently with PowerPoint effects remained.

New Mid-Range Smartphone from Sony, Enjoy Watching PowerPoint on Xperia SP

Posted on 03:47 by Unknown
Sony Xperia SP
How to play PPT on Sony Xperia SP?
Sony recently unveiled a mid-range Android smartphone named Xperia SP, which has some same configurations as last year’s flagship --- the Xperia Z. The Xperia SP has a 4.6-inch 720p display, a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, and an 8MP rear camera. One of the differences between 2 models is that the Xperia SP runs older Android 4.1 OS, rather than the latest 4.2 version. The Xperia SP will be sold in Asia and Europe by the end of June, price issues are not mentioned yet. It’s currently unknown if the device will be available in the US market.

Specifications
  • 4.6-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels and 319 ppi
  • Corning Gorilla glass
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
  • 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon™ S4
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 8 GB of ROM
  • Supports MicroSD card expansion, up to 32 GB
  • 8.0 MP camera with auto focus, supports HD video recording (1080p)
  • Front-facing camera (VGA)
  • Supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC
  • Li-Ion 2370 mAh battery
Highlights
Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. The technology delivers a better viewing experience by adding new real-time contrast optimization to the sharpness enhancement, high-quality color management and noise reduction. It’s also able to analyze content type and adjust the image accordingly.

Battery STAMINA mode. The same feature has been used on Xperia Z. This special mode saves you wasted battery drain by recognizing when your display is off and turning off functions you don’t need, while keeping the notifications you want.

Play PowerPoint on Xperia SP
As a mid-end handset, the Xperia SP is already good enough for entertainments. Thanks to its 4.6-inch display, users can watch 720p movies conveniently. The phone’s 8MP camera helps users shoot HD videos, too. Besides entertainments, people may also do business work with this gadget. Let’s say, how to view PowerPoint on Xperia SP?

As a member of the popular Android affiance, the Xperia SP never lack applications. To play PPT on the phone, users can find and download an Office app from Google Play, such as Documents To Go or Kingsoft Office. However, these mobile apps are quite different from Microsoft’s Office suite on PC. Some PowerPoint effects, like background music, transitions and animations can’t be shown on the phone with Office apps. As a consequence, we recommend an alternative to display PowerPoint on Xperia SP. By converting PowerPoint to Xperia SP suitable videos, users can play these converted videos on the smartphone with PowerPoint effects remained.

MWC 2013: Nokia Rolls Out Entry-Level Lumia 520 & Lumia 720

Posted on 20:37 by Unknown
Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 720
Finnish-based manufacturer Nokia introduces some new mobile phones at MWC 2013. Among these latest devices, we found two Windows Phones: the Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 720. Compared with their high-end big brother Lumia 920, it seems Nokia is planning to grab market share of the entry-level smartphones with these 2 models.

The Nokia Lumia 520 packs 1.0 GHz dual-core process while having a 4.0-inch display with IPS technology. The pixel resolution of the phone is 800*480. Moreover, the Lumia 520 has 8 GB of internal storage with 512 MB of RAM. A microSD card slot is also featured for up to 64 GB of additional space. The rear facing camera of the phone has 5.0-megapixels, but no front-facing camera is equipped.

As to the Nokia Lumia 720, this handset comes up with a 4.3-inch WVGA display with ClearBlack technology. Pixel resolution of the phone is the same as Lumia 520. It’s reported that the display of the Lumia 720 is very sensitive and compatible while wearing gloves. Same as Lumia 520, the Lumia 720 also has 8 GB of internal storage and 512 MB of RAM. A microSD card slot is available with the smartphone for up to 64 GB of additional support. Besides displays, here’s another difference between 2 phones: the Lumia 720’s rear-facing camera has 6.7-megapixels with Carl Zeiss optics.

The Lumia 720 is "designed for non-LTE markets" because it lacks LTE. Currently it’s unclear whether this gadget would be sold in the U.S. Meanwhile the Lumia 520 is reported to hit the U.S market via T-Mobile.

Thanks to the Windows Phone 8 OS, both handsets are able to play PowerPoint presentations with their build-in mobile Office app. However, the mobile Office is not as functional or convenient as the computer one. For instance, the presentation’s background music can’t be heard on mobile Office, and animation effects are unavailable neither. To play PowerPoint on Lumia 520 and Lumia 720, users have another solution by converting PowerPoint to video format with animation and music remained.

The Lightest Tablet - Medias Tab UL N08-D

Posted on 23:32 by Unknown

Last Thursday, Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo announced the news of selling Medias Tab UL N08-D from NEC. Employed carbon fiber materials used in modern aviation, it weighs only 249 grams, 63% the weight of 7 inches Kindle Fire HD on Amazon and 71% that of Nexus 7. In this case, Medias Tab UL N08-D is claimed to be the lightest tablet up to this point around the world. It deployed the Android 4.0 ICS system, LCD-display with a resolution of 1280*800, a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, a rear camera with 8 million pixels and a 3100 mAh battery.

Medias Tab UL N08-D

As we can see, the specification of Medias Tab UL N08-D is quite similar to many other tablets, however, the greatest advance of Medias Tab UL N08-D does not lie in its hardware but its weight. It is really amazing that a tablet with 7 inches screen just weighs 249 grams! In addition to its light weight, its thickness of 7.9mm is another attraction.

Medias Tab UL N08-D
Medias Tab UL N08-D

These days, most of us tend to enjoy our leisure time in the outdoors with our families, friends or lovers. We often surf the internet, listen to music, take photos or watch movies by using our laptops. We really enjoy ourselves. But, I believe all of us are tired of carrying around a heavy laptop computer. We are longing for a lighter alternative. Medias Tab UL N08-D is just the perfect one. With it, we can enjoy ourselves without worrying about taking the heavy and cumbersome laptops. For this advantage, I believe it will soon become popular among people around the world.

What a wonderful tablet! It looks so nice that I really want to buy one. I even can’t help to imagining that I am watching my favorite movie on the grass with my friends at weekends. Do you feel the same way? Oh! It occurred to me that maybe I should choose a video converter for Medias Tab UL N08-D. As best I know, usually tablets support videos of many different formats downloaded from the Internet, but HD AVI video seems to be an exception. Besides, some tablets do not support WMV. For this reason, I think a video converter is really a necessity.

iPhone 5 Pre-order on September 12

Posted on 23:41 by Unknown
According to iMore, the next generation iPhone, widely referred to as iPhone 5 will be officially announced on September 12. And at the same day, Apple could offer iPhone 5 pre-orders. A bit earlier than last October when iPhone 4S was introduced.
iPhone 5

The new iPhone will likely have a taller 4-inch display with a 640×1136 resolution. It features a two-tone design made of what we assume is aluminum and glass on the back. A recently leaked logic board points to possible 4G LTE, but the battery probably isn’t much bigger than the battery in the iPhone 4S. The iOS 6 will probably be installed on iPhone 5 for the first time. The new device will also have a new, smaller dock connector that will break compatibility with current iPhone accessories.

Another hot rumored product, iPad Mini may be announced on the same day too. The iPad Mini is a 7.85-inch tablet but has the same 1024x768 resolution, which makes it a competitive product toward other affordable tablets like Amazon Kindle Fire, Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet and Google Nexus 7.

Sony F800 - Better Music Player Than iPod Touch

Posted on 21:05 by Unknown
Sony has announced the new Sony F800 music player to challenge iPod Touch running on Android 4.0.
Sony F800
If you’re a music fan then iPod Touch really isn’t your ideal choice. We know that iPod Touch has the amazing touch screen which you can navigate with your finger. But now the new Sony F800 music player also adopted the touch screen.

The reason why I prefer Sony F800, a new model from the once legend Walkman series, is its perfect sound effect, with the help of S-Master MX Digital amplifier, Clear Audio technology and X-Loud speaker system.

The Sony F800 will be running on Android 4.0 system, with a 3.5-inch touch screen, but the resolution is unknown yet. It’s available in either an 8GB, 16GB or 32GB flavors and the battery should return 20 hours of music playback and just over 4 hours for video.

Besides, Sony F800 is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, plus direct access to the Google Play store, which means you can install Office apps to view PowerPoint presentations. A maps app comes pre-installed along with a gallery and email app.

With the ability to view MP4 videos, you can also view PowerPoint on Sony F800 by saving PowerPoint as video format.

No word on pricing and release date for new yet, but it won’t be long to wait.

View PowerPoint on Toshiba Excite 10 LE

Posted on 23:34 by Unknown
It will ever to wrong to make your tablet even thinner and lighter in the mess of tablet market where all most all mobile producers or former computer manufacturers are getting involved in. Last year, Toshiba released its full-featured tablet – Toshiba Thrive, but the result is not so satisfying.
Toshiba Excite 10 LE

The new Toshiba Excite 10 LE is a big hit because of its thin body and light weight. Let’s take a look at what Toshiba Excite 10 LE is compared to other popular tablets.
Toshiba Excite 10 LE Apple iPad (2012) Asus Transformer Prime Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
Weight in pounds 1.12 1.44 1.32 1.24
Width in inches (landscape) 10.1 7.3 10.3 10.1
Height in inches 6.9 9.5 7.1 6.9
Side bezel width in inches (landscape) 0.75 0.87 0.8 0.8

Brief information of Toshiba Excite 10 LE:

The Toshiba Excite 10 LE is the thinnest, lightest 10-inch tablet, weighing in at 1.2 pounds and measuring .3 inch thin. This tablet is powered by Android 4.0 - Ice Cream Sandwich, and offers expandability with a variety of built-in ports, including HDMI, USB, and microSD card. Bluetooth for wireless headphones and a keyboard is also available. The 10.1-inch tablet has a 1280x800, LED-backlit display and the screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass.
Toshiba Excite 10 LE

Almost all the websites are eager to talk about the cameras, but I wonder how many people do you really use a phone to take pictures or record HD videos? For me, never. Anyway Toshiba Excite 10 LE offers 5MP camera which is able to take up to 720p video, which could be enough for ordinary uses and a front-facing camera for video meeting, if necessary.

Besides, expected features such as GPS, Bluetooth audio and peripheral support, and integrated speakers are all here.

If you’re interested in this Toshiba Excite 10 LE tablet, what does it matter to read the following few words? Assume you need to view the PowerPoint when you’re not in the office with computer by your side, you may need to install Office apps like Quickoffice or Document To Go for Android. But if the PowerPoint has important narrations or video clips embedded, you should try another method – convert PowerPoint to video to keep all the information.

Apple Will Release iPhone Nano Together with iPhone 5 in 2012

Posted on 01:57 by Unknown
The semi-annual iPhone Nano rumor has surfaced yet again, this time with news claiming that Apple will release the small, entry-level device at the same time as the iPhone 5 in 2012.

China Times is reporting that Apple is looking to expand into the low-end smartphone market, as its lowest price iPhone is too expensive to compete with entry-level Android smartphones. The newspaper also reported that the iPhone-producer is planning to release this new low-end model later this year, possible at the same time the sixth-generation iPhone hits the market.

At the moment, Apple’s iPhone 3GS is the cheapest at $375. While it does seem a lot cheaper compared to the iPhone 4S, it’s still a lot more expensive than some budget Android phones. On the other hand, the third-generation of iPad named the new iPad was released in March with its astonishing 2048 x 1536 retina display and more powerful hardware like the A5X processor. But great pressure is then when Amazon claimed to released its second-generation Kindle Fire, which is a strong competitor toward iPad because of its great performance and low price.
iPhone Nano size

This is hardly the first time rumors of a smaller, cheaper iPhone have surfaced. The iPhone Nano is rumored to be one-third smaller than the iPhone 4S, about 2.65-inch screen, still clear enough if you want to view PowerPoint on iPhone Nano, watch movie on it, play games on it. Although the rumor of a low-end iPhone Nano has been reporting since at least 2009, but it seems that Apple is holding its bottom line. With the vast growth and fast popularity of Android smartphones, will Apple change this time?

It’s about time too. As they did with the iPod by releasing different versions of the same device in different price ranges to appeal to a broader market, Apple can again corner the market by making an iPhone for everyone, regardless of your budget.

We’re more interested in seeing what the iPhone 5 will look like, but Apple will probably have their way and blow everyone away with this miniature device as well. If it has some extra features that it’s bigger brother doesn’t, which could be one incentive to interest shoppers. Let us know your thoughts on a possible iPhone Nano.

Asus Transformer Pad 300 Sell Start from $359, May Be Best For Win 8

Posted on 22:41 by Unknown
We first heard of the all-plastic brother of the Asus Transformer Prime, the Transformer Pad 300, back at MWC 2012 at the end of February. If you are fond of the Transformer Prime but don’t get enough budget, then Transformer Pad 300 would be a perfect alternative.
Asus Transformer Pad 300

Thanks to the new information on Amazon, the Transformer Pad 300 is said to start selling at around $359 in the United States (the 16 GB model). And if you like, you can pay an extra $149 to get the keyboard dock. Once connected with Transformer Pad 300, you turned it to a super netbook, that’s what transformer means. Instead of the finger navigation on the touch screens, it would be much easier to type in words on the keyboard, if you’re taking notes at class or conference.

Because the 10-inch device is powered by a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and feature a 1280 x 800 pixels resolution IPS display, as well as 1 GB of RAM, you have enough reason to expect a PC-like performance when your watch HD movies like the latest Titanic 3D. Camera is another essential that people care a lot, the 8MP rear-facing shooter has the ability to take wonder pictures and record high definition movies at 30 fps. And the 2 MP front-facing camera makes video calling and online chatting possible.

Asus’ Transformer lines of tablets seem great and innovative, but according to survey, Transformer Tablets are not favored by the customers. Instead, they rushed into Apple Store around the world. Like usual, Android devices focus their attentions on the hardware upgrade, like the quad-core processor, large or huge screen and high pixels cameras. Apple iPad 3 (the new iPad) is still running on dual-core A5X processor and equipped with 5 MP camera, but no hurdle to its mass success.

Another good example may be Samsung Galaxy Note, which has a 5.7-inch screen, just a little smaller than the 7-inch Amazon Kindle Fire. However, Galaxy Note is a great success, sold more than 5 million in the past 6 months after release.

I think the transformer idea (with a keyboard dock) is brilliant but it seems that Asus go a head of the times. The rising needs to create, edit and view Office documents on tablets make it Asus Transformer Pad 300 even more appealing. But due to the compatibility of Microsoft Office, it may be a perfect match if Transformer Pad 300 and Windows 8 would be together.
