The price for iPad is about $500 to $830, while iPad 2 is estimated to be $100 lower, about $399 to $799, which is quite attractive.
Last year, the first iPad had unexpected success in sales, even Apple itself didn't imagine that. It topped 15 million units by the end of 2010. Apple officials admitted they were very surprised at how fast it went from the early honeymoon period and when it became a runaway hit.
The iPad 2 isn’t even out yet, and there are already rumors about an iPad 3. Some claim this iPad 3 could come out as soon as September. We will never know whether it is true or not until after September. The one thing we are sure is that the coming iPad 2 would fulfill the whole world with its new technologies and lower price.
