PowerPoint initially places the picture filename in the caption, but you can edit it and change to your own. To add captions to your photo album follow these steps:

Step 1: Open PowerPoint 2010, and click “Insert” tab on the ribbon → “Photo Album”.

Posted on 19:59 by Unknown

3 Ways to View PowerPoint on Kindle Fire

Posted on 01:01 by Unknown
The Amazon Kindle Fire is really the biggest hit in tablet market in 2011 besides the iPad 2 with the sub-$200 price. Cheap but with powerful performances, it comes along with Amazon's vast universe of entertainment, e-books and shopping services. Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, it is equipped with a 7-inch IPS-LCD touch screen (1024 x 600), TI OMAP4 dual-core 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal memory, Micro USB 2.0 and WiFi.
Kindle Fire

Although it has perfect performance on movies, apps, music and games, there is one thing Kindle Fire cannot do initially – view PowerPoint on Kindle Fire.

However, there are about 3 alternative ways for you to choose, to play PowerPoint on Kindle Fire.

Method 1: Android Microsoft Office Apps

Although Microsoft itself doesn’t develop Microsoft Office for Android platform, some other companies created Office Apps for Android. After you have installed the apps, you can open the PowerPoint file on Kindle Fire. These apps are trying to imitate the functions of Microsoft Office, but far from enough, so the animations, transitions, music or video clips may not show properly on your Kindle Fire. Famous Android Office Apps: Documents to Go, ThinkFree Office, Quick Office, etc.

Method 2: View PowerPoint on Kindle Fire as images

Kindle Fire has native support for image like JPEG, GIF, PNG, etc. So you can export your PowerPoint slides as images and then transfer to Kindle Fire for viewing. You may have noticed that the dynamic PowerPoint effects will be removed when saving PowerPoint as image. So this method is suitable for those plain document PowerPoint presentations. For those multi-media PowerPoint presentations, the best way is saving PowerPoint as video.

Method 3: Play PowerPoint on Kindle Fire as video

Watching movie is one of the main functions of Kindle Fire, so if you can save PowerPoint to video, Kindle Fire can play it. Moyea PPT to Video Converter can help you convert PPT, PPS, PPTX and PPXT, etc. to Kindle Fire compatible video formats with all the original PowerPoint elements and effects preserved intact. All you need to do is 3 steps: Import PowerPoint files; Setup output video format and Start conversion.
PowerPoint to Kindle Fire Converter

After the conversion is completed, you can not only easily watch PowerPoint on Kindle Fire, but also share on YouTube, Facebook, and view on other portable devices like iPad, iPhone, Galaxy Tab, etc.

If you have Kindle Fire in your hand, why not try these ways to view your PowerPoint presentations on Kindle Fire. I’m sure there must be one method which is right for you.
