Samsung Galaxy Note Review

Posted on 18:50 by Unknown
Samsung Galaxy NoteThe Android Smartphones are really crazy! When we are still waiting for the “biggest” 4.7-inch HTC Titan, Samsung leads up and released the real biggest Smartphone – Galaxy Note. This beast of phone actually carries a 5.3-inch display. So it is the biggest for a device under the name “phone”. To be more specific, you can consider it as a huge Smartphone or a mini tablet.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is made of plastics, but it doesn't feel cheap at all. The device is solid, and even the capacitive stylus stays very firmly in its spot, and requires a bit of force to be removed.

The giant 5.3-inch screen could only be held in giant hands. Of course it carries Samsung’s own Super AMOLED technology which translates into rich colors, deep contrast levels, and wide view angles. We are happy to say that everything on the screen is very clear and easily readable for Galaxy Note has a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and 285ppi.

To ensure a fast and fluent operating speed, Galaxy Note is equipped with 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, 1G of RAM and 4G HSPA+ network. It has two cameras. The primary 8M camera has auto focus, LED flash and 1080p video recording capacity. The front-facing 2M camera makes it easier for both video calling and uploading photos for micro blogs.
iPhone 4, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S2

The Samsung Galaxy Note runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which is of course disguised with the custom TouchWiz user interface. It is nice that TouchWiz has been tweaked for the Note in a number of ways, so that it better fits the 5.3” realities. For example, the icon grid now allows for five, instead of four icons on a row.

Believe it or not, the Samsung Galaxy Note is also meant to be used as a phone. With such a huge display, it's natural for us to be a bit worried about the battery life of the Samsung Galaxy Note. Thankfully though, you can feel free to watch movies, PowerPoint on Galaxy Note via Moyea PPT to Video converter and play games for the manufacturer has managed to fit a pretty decent 2500mAh battery inside, which should be able to provide 13 hours of talk-time and about 24 days of stand-by.

How to Skip Certain Slides in PowerPoint

Posted on 22:48 by Unknown
Usually when we are playing a PowerPoint presentation, we would view in order. Sometimes, we may need to skip several slides in PowerPoint. How could we do that?

Method 1: Add hyperlinks.

Method 2: Keyboard.

Method 1: Add hyperlinks.

Hyperlink is really a useful function in PowerPoint. You can use it to create hyperlinks to webpages, slide within one PowerPoint, another PowerPoint, etc. Basically it enables you to jump from one slide to another. So here we can use it to skip certain slides in PowerPoint.

Suppose you want to skip slide 4, 5, 6, 7. That means after you viewed slide 3, you will directly go to slide 8.

there are two ways to creating such hyperlinks.

First:
Directly create hyperlink between slide 3 and slide 9. By doing this, you completely ignored the 4 slides.

Second:
You will still use the 4 slides. Create a hyperlink to slide 4 first. So when you click on slide 3 it will go to slide 4. The questions is how to automatically turn to slide 9? Create a hyperlink between slide 4 and 9 too. To make the hyperlink work automatically you should set the start as Automaticall After 00:00:00.

Method 2: Keyboard.

Another method is directly using keyboar to jump to the slide you want. Click F5 to show the PowerPoint and then enter the slide number on the numeric keypad of your keyboard and pressing "Enter." If you do not have a numeric keypad (calculator) section of your keyboard, use the numbers in the QWERTY section.

Funny Short Thanksgiving Stories

Posted on 03:03 by Unknown

I find these short Thanksgiving stories are really funny, so I post here to share with you. Looking forward to seeing the smile on your faces reading these stories.

1. Turkey Hunters' Tale

Tommy and Billy were discussing their latest turkey shoot. Tommy says emphatically, 'I am never going to take my wife Laura shooting with me ever again, Billy!'

'That bad, eh?' enquires Billy smiling.

'Yeah, Laura did everything wrong, got nothing right. She chattered too much, constantly disturbed the undergrowth, loaded the wrong gauge shot in the gun, used the wrong luring whistles and worst of all,' bellows Tommy, 'she shot more turkeys than me!'

2. Those Ancestors!

The Taylor's were proud of their family tradition. Their ancestors had travelled to America with the Pilgrim Fathers on the Mayflower. They had included Congressmen, successful entrepreneurs, famous sports people and television stars.

They decided to research and write a family history, something for their children and grandchildren. They found a specialist genealogist and writer to help them. Only one problem arose - how to handle Great Uncle Jefferson Taylor who was executed in the electric chair.

The writer said she could handle the story tactfully. When the book appeared the section about Jefferson read:

Great Uncle Jefferson Taylor occupied a chair of applied electronics at an important government institution, he was attached to his position by the strongest of ties, and his death came as a great shock.

3. Big Turkeys and Little Turkeys

If a big turkey is called a gobbler, what do you call a little turkey?

A goblet.

4. Gratitude

In the week before Thanksgiving Mary-Jo asked her class of 9 year-olds to write a paragraph entitled:

'What I am most thankful for on Thanksgiving Day'.

All Joey could write was: 'I am thankful that I'm not a turkey at Thanksgiving.'

5. Be Prepared

Grandma was showing the children a painting of the Pilgrim Family on a Thanksgiving Day card that they had received and she commented, 'The Pilgrim children enjoyed going to church with their mothers and fathers and praying to God.'

Her youngest grandson looked at her doubtfully and asked, 'Then why is their Dad carrying that rifle?'

How to Tell Funny Thanksgiving Stories?

1. Make sure the audience can relate to your funny story.

2. Tell funny stories by mixing personal experiences.

3. Stay calm, don’t let the audience know something is coming.

4. Deliver jokes and funny stories with a very special strange voice.

5. Pause before delivering the punch line.
